Daeya.org Special Event - Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Tickets Giveaway Contest Rules and Regulations.
Sponsor: Daeya.org, is the sole sponsor of this contest and is solely responsible for its conduct and administration this contest.
1. HOW TO ENTER: Contest begins 2:00 a.m. EST. Tuesday, October 19th, 2004, and ends at 2:00 a.m. EST. on Thursday, October 21st, 2004 ("Contest Period"). To enter the contest, Participants must complete the online entry form. A contest entry form is located at http://www.daeya.org/ff7ac_mtl/contest/signup.php. There is one (1) Grand Prize to be won. The odds of winning the Grand Prize will depend on the total number of entries received.
2. DRAWING: Sponsor will select in a random drawing by no later than 11:30 a.m. EST. Thursday, October 21st, 2004 a potential winner. Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential Grand Prize-winner by telephone or email up to 3 times until 1:30 p.m. October 21st, 2004, after which an alternative potential winner will be chosen.
3. GRAND PRIZE: There is one (1) Grand Prize available to be won.
Grand Prize Consists of two (2) admission for winner to watch the Special Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Screening event, on October 21st, at the Montreal Festival du Nouveau Cinema. Prize value approximately $20.00 Cdn. Prize must be accepted as awarded and no cash equivalent will be awarded. No substitution of prizes is permitted except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prizes with another prize of equal or greater value. Prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash or credit in whole or part.
4. ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to legal residents of Canada and the United-States of America who are 14 years of age or older by October 21st, 2004. Contest is not open to employees and immediate families of Daeya.org or any of its respective parents, subsidiary or affiliated companies, licensees, advertising and promotional agencies. To be eligible to win the Grand Prize, potential winners must be able to attend the event.
5. PRIZE CLAIM: To claim the grand prize, the winner must sign and give in person a completed release of liability , along with notifying a Daeya.org representative by no later than October 21st at 5 p.m. A Daeya.org representative will confirm the event location and start time when the prize is awarded to the winner. The Grand Prize is awarded as is and is not transferable, nor redeemable for cash. Winner and their guest(s) agree that by accepting this prize they are releasing the Sponsor and their respective parents, directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates and the independent judging organization, if any, with regard to any claims for injury, accident, loss or damage of any kind arising out of participation in this contest or acceptance of the prize as awarded. Any potential winner who fails to comply with these rules will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. Any notification returned as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. The Grand Prize will be awarded.
6. GENERAL RULES: The Sponsor shall not be liable for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, not received, stolen, mutilated or illegible entries. By entering this drawing, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and independent judging organization, if any, which are final, binding and conclusive on all matters relating to this contest. All entries become the property of the Sponsor, none will be returned and no correspondence will be entered into except with selected entrants who will be notified by telephone or e-mail. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify all entrants who fail to follow these official rules and regulations or who make any misrepresentation relating to the contest, drawing and redemption of the Grand Prize. This contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal legislation. Entry constitutes permission to use the winner's name, photograph and/or voice recording for publicity purposes without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law. At Daeya.org, we are committed to respecting your desire for privacy. Any personal information that we gather will remain confidential in our system. Please note that by submitting personal information to Daeya.org, you consent to our use as described above. Winners may not substitute or transfer the prize.
The Sponsor shall not be responsible for any failure of the website during the promotion or for any problems or technical malfunction of a telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail, on-line, or Internet entry to be received by the Sponsor. In addition, the Sponsor shall not be responsible due to technical problems, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer or property related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this contest should a virus, bug or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, incomplete, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way.
